With the Decora Evolve Receptacle Base, builders can give homeowners the power to customize power outlets using a variety of interchangeable modules. Once the base unit is installed by builders, homeowners can conveniently change modules in seconds – without special tools or technical know-how.

MULTI-WAY - Used as an additional way to control lights managed by more than one switch after a Decora Evolve Primary Switch Base has been installed at the location with the load.
FAMILIAR - Install using industry-standard wiring, electrical boxes, and face plates.
MODULAR - Removal of the bottom module allows placement of a Night Light or USB-A/USB-C® Charger.
CONSUMER-FRIENDLY- Homeowners can add and change modules themselves without having to turn off the power.

Can I use any lighting/load control modules in this base?
- You cannot since the outlet doesn’t already control a load
Do these have a breakoff tab for split power applications?
- They do; it is located on the line side. Be sure to reference the instruction sheets to see which terminal screw powers the fixed receptacle on the base vs. the interchangeable module
Are there GFCI options?
- Currently there are not, so when installing in an area that requires GFCI protection, be sure the Decora Evolve device is placed downstream on a GFCI protected circuit
What wallplates can I use for the Decora Evolve bases?
- Any standard Decora Wallplate will work with these bases, no special wallplates required!
What wall boxes should I use to install these?
- Decora Evolve bases were designed to fit in 18 cu in new construction plastic wallboxes but we recommend using 22 cu in wallboxes to make installation a breeze!
Are these products NEC Compliant and agency approved?
- Yes, Decora Evolve is compliant with the National Electrical Code and are cULus approved
Are the Decora Evolve devices backed by a warranty?
- Yes, they are backed by a 2 Year Limited Warranty.
Does Decora Evolve currently have 20A receptacle?
- As of today, there are only 15A receptacles available for Decora Evolve.
