Wall Switches for CMS
- Leviton Wireless Companion Switch
- Leviton Wireless Companion Dimmer
- Leviton Wireless Companion Keypads
- Leviton PLV Low Voltage Keypads
The Wireless Companion Switch, Dimmer, and 4-Button Keypads pair wirelessly with the Smart Ceiling Mount Sensors (CMS) to provide a simple to install solution for wireless manual lighting control. The Wireless Companion Switch, Dimmer, and 4-Button Keypads can be mounted directly on wall surfaces, existing single or multi-gang wallbox, or glass surfaces using the WPN01 Glass Mounting Plate, no wiring required. The Wireless Companion Devices are the perfect solution for locations where a wallbox may not be located or locations where there is no wiring present.
Wired Decora® Low Voltage Keypads are also available for controlling non-dimmable and dimmable luminaries connected to Smart Ceiling Mount Sensors (CMS).

- Yes. Smart Wallbox Sensors have multi-way capabilities for up to 5 devices on all models. Use the Leviton Push to Pair (P2P) process to create a multi-way system. Enable multi-way capabilities with an OTA update for all models.
- There is a lot of flexibility in terms of how the sensors are wired since the 3-way (or more sensors) connections are made using the Bluetooth radio. The sensors can be wired in parallel or can be wired completely separately. They can even be on separate circuits or not connected to a load at all acting more as a remote. As long as they are paired together wirelessly, they will operate in unison with any of the sensors able to pick up motion and any of the sensors can be used to control the lighting manually (ON/OFF or dim up / down).
Select Smart Wallbox Sensors have antimicrobial treated plastic to help keep the device clean. The SAN-BASIC-DASH must be used to order antimicrobial models. See the data sheet for details.
- Simple configurations can be applied using a pushbutton setup for several common pre-configured options. Additionally, the Smart Wallbox Sensors have out-of-the-box default modes:
- Auto-ON/auto-OFF with 20-minute time out
- Sensitivity set to 75%
- Nightlight and daylighting disabled
Yes. The sensors have an integrated photocell for ambient light hold-OFF which can be programmed using the Leviton Smart Sensor App.
The Smart Sensor App opens a complete feature set for the user allowing them to fine-tune the sensor settings per a room’s specifications or energy code requirements.
All Smart Wallbox Sensors are designed with a new digital PIR and lens that is very accurate at detecting motion, even minor motion movements up to 20’ in front of the sensor and 10’ on either side of the sensor. Multi-Tech models can be used when there is no direct line of sight, such as cubicle walls or bathroom stalls.
Leviton offers the ODS15-GDW – a no-neutral wire model.
The Smart Wallbox Sensor can be used to comply with ASHRAE 90.1, IECC and 2022 Title 24. A power pack can be added for plug load control (ODDMT-MLW and ODD24-IDW).
Yes. Users have the option to choose from multiple colors.
- For a manual-ON and auto-OFF room set-up: No, the lights need to be turned ON manually and will only turn OFF automatically.
- For an auto-ON and auto-OFF room set-up: Yes, the lights will turn ON and OFF automatically.
- If the lights do NOT automatically turn ON when you walk two steps into a room, the occupancy sensor is set up for manual-ON/auto-Off lighting control and you will need to manually turn the lights ON.
- If the lights automatically turn ON when you walk into a room, the occupancy sensor is set up for auto-ON/ auto-OFF lighting control.
- Occupancy sensors are not always exact and there are many variables to take into account that may cause the lights to turn OFF inadvertently. This should be an infrequent occurence. We have designed features into the product in order to reduce this occurence.
- Yes, occupancy sensors are equipped with a time delay feature which will start after the last motion is detected. There will be a time delay period of 10, 20 or 30 minutes where the lights will remain ON after the last person was in the room.
