FAQs

  • How does the 2500 Meter Compare to the 1000 and 2000 Series Meters?
    • The 2500 Meter is a single platform that can be used for Single and Three Phase applications.  The single meter is field configurable for 120/208, 277/480, and 120/240 services.
  • Can I use the meter on Delta Services?
    • No, a neutral is needed to power the meter.  If a Delta Service is needed, please use the 7000 Series.

    • The meter can be surface mounted on a wall or installed with an optional Flush Mount Kit for a cleaner, low‑profile look.
  • What data points does the meter provide?
    • kWh, kW, Voltage, Amperage, and Avg Power Factor are all available data points from the meter.
  • How do I configure the meter?
    • The meter has an LCD and push buttons for configuration.  The steps are simple:

1. Configure the Modbus address

2. Select the Service Type

3. Select the CT depending on which amperage you have.

  • You can also order the meters preconfigured and kitted with specific Current Transformers from 100A to 800A.
  • Is the meter suitable for Revenue Grade Applications?
    • Yes, the meter is .2% accurate.
  • How long is the warranty on the meter?
    • Leviton offers a limited 5-year warranty.
