Leviton is positioned for a strong year helping customers “learn more, sell more, and do more”
As Leviton celebrates its milestone 120th anniversary in 2026, the company is poised for a strong year focused on delivering the benefits of innovation, electrification, convergence, and sustainability to distributors and contractors worldwide.
Renowned for its wide array of residential, commercial, and industrial solutions, “Leviton has one of the most innovative and extensive product portfolios in the industry, and we remain steadfast around making installation of our products simpler, faster, and more cost-effective,” shared Brett Serxner, Leviton’s Director of Distribution Marketing, of the company’s approach to the market in 2026. “Ultimately, this focus allows distributors and contractors who align with Leviton to enjoy greater productivity, cost savings, profitability, and growth.”
“All of our products work together seamlessly, and regardless of the end user or application, Leviton has a high-quality solution to meet the need,” agreed Steve Doty, Leviton’s Senior Manager of Contractor Marketing. “As part of our commitment to helping our partners learn more, sell more, and do more with Leviton in 2026, we look forward to educating our electrical contractors on all of the products we have, how these products can support contractors and their end user customers, and the impact of soon-to-be-announced changes to the NEC.”
Below, Serxner and Doty discuss Leviton’s strategic focus in 2026 and some of the exciting new Leviton products that are changing the game for distributors and contractors and setting a new standard in the electrical products industry.
Innovation - Among the company’s many innovative offerings, “Leviton’s ‘Whole Home’ solutions – including the Leviton Load Center (LLC), Decora Smart line of switches and dimmers, USB chargers, and new line of Slim Downlight Fixtures paired with Leviton’s residential dimmers for seamless connectivity – deliver a new degree of ambiance, comfort, convenience, and safety to the home,” Serxner said. “On the professional side, we continue to extend our industry-leading Lever Edge technology (featuring user-friendly, color-coded levers that lock wiring devices into place with a simple and distinct click to ensure a secure connection) to more and more products within our portfolio, and we’re seeing great success with our recently-acquired new ArcArrest line of switch-rated pin & sleeve devices in the industrial sector. Serxner added that Inform technology, which ties into many of Leviton’s pin‑and‑sleeve plug connectors, mechanical interlocks, and disconnect switches, provides real-time data that helps facility professionals manage their uptime and downtime better.”
Electrification - Leviton remains at the forefront of society’s growing demand for electrification and connectivity.
“For example, Leviton’s EV Charging Solutions for home and business allow users to view and schedule charging, manage their power consumption, and prevent breaker overload when using other appliances while charging,” said Serxner, who noted that Leviton’s line of EV solutions includes the recent addition of a new residential 50-Amp EV Charging Outlet for fast and safe charging outdoors as well as a growing line of products for marine and RV applications. “And our robust line of Leviton Network Solutions features complete end-to-end copper and fiber-structured cabling systems that support rising global demand for data center infrastructure, AI networks, and enterprise and smart building solutions.”
“We also recently added racks to our broad line of data center solutions – just one of a number of ways in which we enable partners to consolidate with Leviton and enjoy greater productivity and profitability,” Doty said. “From wiring devices to networking systems and EV, marine, and RV solutions, we’ve got it all.”
Convergence - In an industry where time is money, a manufacturer’s ability to be convergent in its products and operations – e.g., efficient, clear, consistent, and streamlined – makes all the difference for distributor and contractor partners, and this is Leviton’s focus in 2026 and beyond. According to Leviton’s Randy Mortensen, RCDD, EVP Global Sales & Marketing, “convergence is the strategic integration of different elements within [an] organization to create a unified and more efficient system; it's about breaking down the walls between departments, technologies, and even entire industries to create something greater than the sum of its parts, ultimately delivering better and faster returns.”
“Leviton’s converged solutions and smart technology across the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors all tie together in a cohesive ecosystem for our partners and further leverage the MyLeviton mobile app for seamless connectivity,” Serxner said.
Sustainability - Leviton remains focused on “CN2030,” its initiative to achieve company-wide carbon neutrality by 2030 through energy-efficient operations, innovation, reductions in jobsite waste, recycling efforts, and water stewardship. “Our new product innovation process incorporates eco-friendly designs such as improved packaging, supporting our own corporate sustainability mission while better serving the needs of our channel members,” Doty said.
A Year of Learning, Selling, and Doing More
“Contractors have voiced that they want a manufacturer partner who will help them learn, grow their business, and meet all of their evolving needs in today’s competitive landscape,” Doty said. “As a result, 2026 will be a year of continued education from Leviton.”
“Leviton’s educational activities will be elevated to a whole new level and distributor and contractor partners can look forward to a broad range of highly engaging and hands-on learning opportunities that translate into sales growth,” Serxner agreed. “We’re seeing especially great response to our Leviton Live experience centers in Chicago, Lake Nona, FL, and Nashville, where we’re able to demonstrate our converged technology in hands-on ways and promote joint sales opportunities for distributors and contractors. From basic product training to specialized certifications offered in live, remote, or virtual/on-demand EZ-Learn™ modules, we’re committed to providing elevated and flexible opportunities for our audience.”
Through Leviton’s expanding array of solutions in growth markets like data centers, healthcare, education, food & beverage, transportation, and commercial buildings, Serxner confirmed that upsell opportunities also abound for distributors and contractors in 2026. “We want to help our partners get a bigger piece of their projects and grow their businesses, and we have the proven technology and expertise to back it up,” he said.
“The brand you’ve trusted for 120 years remains dedicated to quality, safety, innovation, and delivery of the solutions and services that help keep our partners strong and successful,” Serxner concluded. “We’re excited for a great year of helping channel members learn more, sell more, and do more with Leviton.”
