Frequently Asked Questions

GreenConnect delivers simple wireless lighting control for virtually any switching or dimming load. Pair multiple devices for single or multi-zone control without new wiring, room controllers, hubs, or commissioning. GreenConnect is simple to specify, install, and program—making it easy to meet your building’s needs quickly, stay on budget, and be ready for what comes next.

GreenConnect devices are programmed using Push-to-Pair technology, which allows them to connect automatically without extra hardware, a room controller, or app.

Sixteen devices per network.

Single occupancy and daylight zone and up to 16 lighting control zones.

The Wireless Companion Dimmer and Switches have a range of 50’. All other devices have a range of 75’.

Our network is IEEE 802.15.4, 2.4Ghz.

GreenConnect uses Push-to-Pair technology and the Smart Ceiling Mount Sensor uses an app.

Scene control is a feature of GreenMAX® DRC Wireless. Just add a Wireless Keypad Room Controller to access the full feature set.

GreenConnect was designed to the Zigbee 3.0 standard. The sensor and receptacle have passed certification. The remaining devices are planned for certification in the near future.

Every line voltage device is a network repeater to ensure the stability and range of the system.

Load controllers are mounted to a junction box using the ½” threaded nipple and lock nut. The load controller must be accessible enough for the installer to push the test button and observe the LED for the Push-to-Pair Process.

Not at this time. We are continually updating our system and adding new hardware, features, and capabilities.

No. GreenConnect does not require a room controller.

Yes.

The controlled receptacle only responds to the occupancy sensor. You cannot control the receptacle without a wall switch.

Three red blinks if not enrolled. Three green blinks if enrolled. Two green blinks if enrollment is incomplete. One green blink if enrolled but no communication from the network. Please refer to the installation instructions.

Yes. The GreenConnect Occupancy Sensor is a PIR sensor with an integrated photocell for applications requiring daylight harvesting.

7-10 years for the PIR Sensor, and 5 years for the Wireless Companion Dimmer and Switch.

Yes. The GreenConnect Wireless 20A receptacle is split with the top outlet controlled and the bottom outlet always on. It also allows for additional feed-though receptacles to be wired downstream and controlled together with the top outlet controlled by the network.

No. BMS integration is a feature of GreenMAX® DRC Wireless. Just add a Wireless Keypad Room Controller to access the full feature set.

Yes. They can be used to comply with IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and 2025 Title 24, Part 6.
