Utilizing AmpUp Charging Management Software
Drivers can access your EV Pro Chargers via the QR label on the front of the unit. Within the general settings, you will be able to customize and manage important aspects of your charging stations. You can also set up your revenue payout if you’re on a Core or Pro plan. For more information regarding general settings, you can visit General Settings – Support Center. To view the analytics, you will need to go to the analytics page, where you can find a monthly breakdown of your revenue, carbon emissions, savings, utilization data, and more. Further information can be found at Analytics Page – Support Center. In the dashboard you can manage all your chargers and locations, more specifically monitoring the status of your chargers, the current load across all your locations, and which drivers are currently charging. Watch and learn how to use the EV charging management dashboard here.

Driver Access & Payment
- Time-Based Access Control - Change public access based on the day and time for each location. For example, a location can be available to the public during the day but limited to user groups and access code drivers at night.
❌Starter | ❌Core | ✅Pro
- Session Limits & Idle Fees - Encourage drivers to share charging stations by imposing time limits or charging idle fees for drivers staying after a certain time period. Drivers receive push notifications warning them of the session limit and incurring idle fees.

Revenue Generation
- Tiered Pricing - Set two-tier charging rates with one price for an initial time period or energy usage and a different rate thereafter. For example, free for the first hour, and then $2 per hour after; or $0.10/kWh for the first 15 kWh, and then $0.30/kWh after.
❌Starter | ❌Core | ✅Pro
- Time-of-Use Rates - Manage pricing based on the time of day to accommodate for different utility rates or driver demand. For example, utility electricity prices may increase between 4-9pm and charging pricing rates can be set higher during those times.
❌Starter | ❌Core | ✅Pro
Location & Account Management
- Advanced Load Management - Set an energy load cap that limits the maximum power available across a location to reduce the load on the panel. For example, a location could have twenty charging stations each rated at 7.6kW each (a total load of 152 kW if all twenty stations were used at the same time). If the load cap were set to 76kW, 10 cars could charge at 7.6kW. If eleven cars were to charge, the stations would automatically throttle to 6.9kW (76kW/11 cars). Site hosts should work closely with their electrician to determine the load cap and if this feature is required for their location.
