The world is shifting gears toward a fully electric future, and with the rise of electric vehicles (EVs), smart home charging solutions are becoming more essential than ever. But choosing the right setup, understanding key features, and troubleshooting issues can feel overwhelming- until now.

In this blog, we will get into the EV Series Smart Home charging experience. Whether you are setting your device up for the first time, deciphering light indicators, managing configurations, or troubleshooting connections, we have you covered. We will also show you the residential EV infrastructure that is shaping the way we charge, with insights into what you should consider when installing and maintaining your own system.

Introduction to My Leviton

The My Leviton app is a smart home management tool that integrates Leviton’s EV Series Smart Home electric vehicle chargers. It allows you to control and monitor your EV charging sessions remotely. To set up scheduled charging and to do this, navigate to the schedules tab in your My Leviton residence. If you plan and charge during off-peak hours, it will help you save on electricity costs. Additionally, you will get alerts if there are any issues with the charging process and track the charge duration and energy usage for better efficiency.

To enroll your device with My Leviton you will need to follow the steps below:

1.     Download the My Leviton™ app.

2.     Power ON your EV charger and go to the setup mode. To indicate the device is in setup mode, your charger flashes a blue LED.

3.     If your device does not have a flashing blue LED, power cycle your device and start again.

4.     Follow the app instructions to add your device and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
