eBusiness Specialist

About the role 

Reporting to the Vice President, Retail, the eBusiness Specialist is responsible for online operations for all digital B2C platforms focusing on eBusiness sales and marketing functions including but not limited to program maintenance, new product introduction and promotions. Primary responsibility will be to manage Amazon, HD. Ca, E-store, and all other B2C platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop overarching eBusiness strategy to manage current customers and grow B2C platforms while managing & mitigating channel conflict.
  • Strategizes with eBusiness customers to improve logistical efficiency and achieve forecast sales growth.
  • Become the main liaison between Leviton and our eBusiness partners including but not limited to the Amazon Merchant and THD Brand advocate.
  • Work with eBusiness customers to improve overall product offering and gross margin while mitigating channel conflict.
  • Coordinates with Marketing, Product Managers, and Supply Chain to develop an online sales plan in conjunction to product/campaign launches.
  • Coordinates and manages all online assets to ensure the Leviton brand is properly communicated.
  • Creates, maintains, and distributes statistical reports pertaining to eBusiness order history and patterns.   
  • Create new ideas to promote brand awareness and customer interaction alongside eBusiness customers.
  • Responsible for collecting item attribute data such as description, pack size, and selling features for items across all business units to support Leviton’s online web initiatives.
  • Review fill rates and sales trends for major eBusiness customers and provide forecast updates to supply chain when required. 

Qualifications

  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be proficient in Web 2.0 technology.
  • Good understanding of B2B and B2C websites. (Previous experience with Amazon.com a plus)

  • Basic understanding of HTML and web design.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices (preferred).
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone proficient in English to communicate with contacts across Canada and with colleagues in the United States.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the electrical industry.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience with social media and B2C platforms 
  • Experience with photo editing and photo editing software
