Analyst, Customer Agreements and Claims 

About the role 

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for analyzing claims related to agreements with our customers. In addition, he/she will evaluate, process and resolve customer complaints using the appropriate systems and files.

Responsibilities

Receipt of Claims:

  • File the requests in the customer’s folder.
    • Preparation of Claims Before Uploading to the System:
    • Confirm that the customer is using the correct file;
  • Validate the date and the claim information.
    • Processing Claims in the System:
    • Upload the file;
    • Use the appropriate report during the validation process;
    • Validate the batches that were generated;
    • Manually correct (price, inventory, submission), if necessary;
    • Generate a transaction report for each rejected item: 
      • Each report is saved in the customer’s file;
    • Ensure each batch is linked to the deduction: 
      • If the batch is not linked, link it manually;
    • Submit the request for internal approval.
  • Preparation and Communication of Information to Customers:
    • Generate the final report of rejected items;
    • Generate the invoice for the amount due;
    • Inform the customer of the rejected items and the amount due.
  • Handling Disputes Against Reimbursement Requests:
    • Validate the information provided;
    • Generate new credits, if applicable;
    • Provide the credit note to the customer.
  • Respond to Information Requests from the Sales Force.

Miscellaneous

  • Ensure that ISO standards related to the documentation of all relevant transactions and communications are applied and maintained.
  • Perform specific analyses or special projects as required by his/her supervisor. 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of administration, procedures and systems such as MS Office and Oracle
  • Good understanding of claims and recovery
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent French and English competencies, both oral and written. We are looking for someone who is proficient in English to communicate with contacts across Canada and with colleagues in the United States.

Education and Experience 

  • College diploma in administration or commerce or have relevant experience
  • Incumbent must have a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience.
