"Quickwire” type of termination is found on residential grade switches and receptacles. “Quick wire” is also known as “speedwiring"",“stabbing” or “back stab” termination.
To quickwire a switch, first use the backwire push-in feature (also referred to as "backstab")
Next, Insert the wire directly into the Quickwire hold on the back of the device. The Quickwire hole ONLY accepts 14 gauge solid wire. See image diagram below.
