To install a USB charging receptacle, turn off power, verify the circuit is dead, and identify the hot, neutral, and ground wires. Strip and connect each wire to the matching terminal, mount the device in the electrical box, attach the wall plate, and restore power. Test the USB ports by plugging in a device to confirm charging.
