Is a Neutral Wire Required with Leviton Decora Digital Bluetooth Controls?

A neutral wire is required:

  • DDMX1: Decora Digital Bluetooth Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
  • DDM06: Decora Digital Bluetooth Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
  • DDE06: Decora Digital Bluetooth Electronic Low Voltage Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
  • DD710: Decora Digital Bluetooth 0-10v Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
  • DDS15: Decora Digital Bluetooth Switch and 24-hour Timer
  • DDF01: Decora Digital Bluetooth Fan Speed Controller and 24-hour Timer

A connection to earth ground is required and a neutral wire is not required:

  • DDL06-BL: Decora Digital Bluetooth Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
  • DDL06-1L: Decora Digital Bluetooth Dimmer and 24-hour Timer
