Leviton electronic breakers use handle colors and LED indicators to show why a breaker tripped.
- Green handle, no LEDs: Normal operation
- White handle, no LEDs: Breaker is OFF
- Red handle, no LEDs: Overcurrent (overload) trip
LED Indicators:
- Solid GF LED: Ground fault – call an electrician if the cause isn’t obvious
- Solid AF LED: Series arc fault – contact an electrician
- Blinking AF LED (1‑sec): Parallel arc fault – contact an electrician
- Blinking LED (3‑sec): Neutral miswire (AF/GF/Dual‑Function)
- Rapid blinking LEDs: Self‑test failure – breaker needs service or replacement
Refer to the video for visual examples of each indicator and blink pattern.
