Add a Decora Smart® No-Neutral Device to the My Leviton App

These instructions are for adding Decora Smart No-Neutral products to your My Leviton account.  These products begin with the part number DN and require a MLWSB Decora Smart Wi-Fi Bridge.  For more information please consult the article How Do I Know If My Decora Smart® Wi-Fi is 1st or 2nd Generation.

You will first need to enroll the MLWSB bridge into your My Leviton account.  Plug the bridge into a centrally located outlet.  The Status LED should be rapidly flashing green.  If not then press and hold the side button for 7 seconds until the Status LED turns amber then release.  The status LED will begin to flash green.

These instructions assume you already have other devices enrolled in your My Leviton account.  If you do not already have devices enrolled in your My Leviton account, then select the Add My First Device button.  Otherwise tap the + in the middle of the bottom navigation bar then select Device.

The My Leviton app will find and connect to the MLWSB.

The app will provide a list of visible wireless networks available to the MLSWB Wi-Fi Bridge

Choose the network with the best signal strength available that you are authorized to join and then tap 

Note: If your SSID is hidden it will need to be visible during the enrollment process.  Once the Decora Smart Wi-Fi is enrolled the SSID can be re-hidden. 

Tap Continue.

Please note that passwords are case specific

If you are in a safe location to show your password, press the eye icon to see the text

Tap Next.

The app passes the Wi-Fi information to the MLSWB Wi-Fi Bridge

Choose a name for your MLSWB Decora Smart Wi-Fi Bridge then tap Continue.  If desired, assign the device to a room, tap Continue and then tap Finish. 

Once the MLWSB is enrolled you can now add DN No-Neutral switches and dimmers.

• The Decora Smart Wi-Fi Bridge provides up to 2,500 sq. ft. of coverage, and should be placed in a central location within 50 ft. of Decora Smart No-Neutral devices
• One Decora Smart Wi-Fi Bridge supports up to 25 devices
• Multiple Bridges can be installed per residence

Tap the + in the middle of the bottom navigation bar, select Device and then the app will search for the device in setup mode.

The app will display all devices that are found in set up mode.  Select the appropriate device and it will be connected to the Wi-Fi bridge.  You will be prompted to choose an icon for the device... 

...give the device a name and add it to a room (if desired).  Tap Finish to complete the enrollment.

If a switch or dimmer is not found in setup mode then the following pop up will be displayed.  Choose Decora Smart, choose Dimmer or Switch as appropriate and then select the model number of the No-Neutral device - DN6HD or DN15S.  Continue the process as detailed above.
