Networking, experiencing the latest electrical products to hit the market, and furthering education were the key highlights of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Conference, held from September 12 to 15, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The opportunities to learn and to grow your contracting business were exceptional.
Do More, Learn More, and Sell More
Senior Contract Marketing Manager, Steve Doty, opened the show floor in a video outlining Leviton’s mission: “Leviton is here at NECA 2025 to show contractors how Leviton can help you do more, learn more, and sell more.”
NECA 2025 was a resounding success, with over 400 exhibitors and more than 10,000 attendees. There was something for everyone to learn, many networking opportunities and ways to connect with industry professionals.
Leviton, a Premier NECA Partner
Leviton returned as a Premier Partner, bringing a new, redesigned booth which utilized a 30’x30’ space in the center of the show floor. The striking four-pillar design showcased Commercial Solutions, Industrial Solutions, Residential Solutions and Data Center Solutions. Nine focus screens mounted throughout the booth enabled Leviton’s sales and marketing teams to showcase the solutions and applications associated with Leviton’s #MoreWithLeviton campaign.
Leviton was the main sponsor of the NECA Apprenticeship Challenge, where 800 apprentices from across the country competed in various wiring competitions. Leviton’s Contractor Marketing team was there to capture the action and encourage these dedicated installers.
Leviton’s Show Stoppers
NECA’s Show Stopper Showcase is where exhibitors show off their latest innovative products, services, or technologies. Leviton featured two Show Stoppers for the 2025 Show.

Leviton A-Team Speakers
Leviton sent some of our top speakers to teach seminars and workshops. Each also visited with contractors in the booth for conversation and hands-on training. Leviton speakers addressed key industry topics and were well receive, as evidenced by the large number of participants.
Joshua Knott, Director of Construction and Technical Sales, taught a two-part course, Submetering Pro Installation and Commissioning, providing participants with enhanced submetering knowledge and hands-on training in installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning for installers working in multi-family, commercial, and industrial sectors.
In his session, Converged Building Technologies, Kit Gaines, Leviton Construction & Technical Specialist, offered insight into how IoT, AI, and Power over Ethernet (POE) are transforming building systems by integrating HVAC, lighting, security, and communications into smarter and more efficient solutions.
Chuck Bowser, Technical Training Manager-East, led a workshop Introduction to Structured Cabling Installation, that enabled participants to explore structured cabling systems and the evolving telecommunications industry through real-world installation techniques and field-testing procedures.
"The thing that impressed me the most about NECA 2025 in Chicago is the effort made to bridge the gap between electricians and limited energy integrators. This event proved that our industry is stronger when we come together. Witnessing these two trades sharing knowledge was a powerful reminder that collaboration builds the future."
