All sales are subject to Leviton’s Terms of Sale. The following are additional terms specific to Quotes:
Discount Quotes:
- A quoted price may be an up-front price (“Discount Quote”) discounted from the price list between Leviton and the distributor (the “Distributor’s Price List”). The Discount Quote price is the price that will appear on Leviton’s invoice to the distributor if the order is placed correctly as noted in paragraph 3 below.
- Products purchased by the distributor via a Discount Quote may not be the subject of any rebate claim.
- When placing an order, the quote price and quote number MUST appear on the distributor’s purchase order so that the order will be invoiced correctly. If either is omitted from the purchase order or the price does not match the quote price, then the order will automatically be invoiced at the price found on the Distributor’s Price List.
Ship and Debit Quotes:
- All Ship and Debit Quotes will be invoiced at the Distributor’s Price List. The distributor may submit a rebate claim against the invoice once the inventory is shipped to the end-user, subject to the Rebate Policy rules below.
Drop-Ship or Rebate
- If an order is entered as Drop Ship or Rebate, the ship-to address determines whether the invoice price will be discounted, or not.
- If the ship-to address is distributor stock then the invoice price will be Distributor’s Price List and it is to be treated as a Ship and Debit quote, as noted above.
- If the ship-to address is to distributor’s customer’s site then the invoice price will be discounted and the rules for Discount Quotes will apply and the items on that invoice are not eligible for a rebate claim.
Rebate Policy:
- Ship and Debit rebate claims are only valid for Products that are purchased or have been in distributor’s existing inventory for 18 months or less from the date of a rebate claim and during the effective period of the quote referenced in the claim.
- Rebate claims must be aggregated into one monthly submission utilizing the Leviton “Ship and Debit Form.” This form is available either by emailing the Distributor’s Leviton Deduction Representative or contacting the Leviton Claims Department at 1-800-554-0756 between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET Monday – Friday.
- All rebate claims must be submitted within 90 calendar days of the quote expiration date.
- Rebate claims are eligible only for Products purchased within the 18-month period from the date such rebate claim is made.
- Leviton reserves the right to reject any rebate claim that it deems not eligible based on the quantity and price for up to 18-month period prior to the date such rebate claim is made.
- Deductions related to rebate claims cannot be made against invoices without first obtaining and referencing a Leviton Rebate credit memo number.
- Upon issuance of the rebate credit memo, (a) any applicable prompt pay discounts will be reversed, and (b) the amount of credit will be reduced in accordance with the payment terms and prompt pay discount percentage.
- Leviton reserves the right to audit distributor's sale records to ensure that the quotes were used for the corresponding projects and contractors stated on the quote. Any sales determined to not be supported by sales documentation for the projects and contractors stated on the quote, will result in a chargeback to the distributor for the difference between the Distributor's Price List and the quote price.
- Note: Non-compliance with the above policy may result in a distributor being placed on temporary credit hold until the distributor acknowledges the policy and their intent to comply. Further, any questions regarding the above policy should be directed to the distributor’s Leviton Deduction Representative or by calling the Leviton Claims Department at 1-800-554-0756 between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET Monday – Friday.
