Aaron Smith covers the Northwest US region for Leviton. Aaron brings 25 years of telecom infrastructure experience to the team. Before joining Leviton, Aaron spent the first 15 years of his career as a commercial technician advancing as a foreman, superintendent and project manager. He has spent the last 10 years as a telecom infrastructure engineer, responsible for the design and standards of the telecom infrastructure plant at a large aviation and seaport entity.

Larry Gillen covers the Southwest US region for Leviton. Larry's 24 years of work experience includes positions in distribution, manufacture direct sales and as a technology design consultant in the ICT industry.

Larry volunteers his time to BICSI as a member of the RCSC (Registration & Credentials Supervision Subcommittee), is currently the Vice Chair of the Data Center Workgroup and has served as a past board member as Western Region Director. His motivation and passion revolve around faith, family, friends and running.

Tomas Helfrich, RCDD

Tomas brings more than 12 years of project and program management experience with background in various industries ranging from Information Technology, engineering, manufacturing, and life-sciences. Tomas has experience designing and installing structured cabling systems that support various low-voltage applications (e.g., horizontal structured cabling, data centers, audio-visual, PoE, cell repeaters, etc.) for various sized companies.

Roy Chamberlain, RCDD
Global Technical Sales Specialist
Territory: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, (Western) Pennsylvania, Vermont

Roy Chamberlain covers the Northeast US region for Leviton. He brings over 20 years of telecommunication experience in commercial construction of low voltage systems for Enterprise and Data Center Customers.

Roy is passionate about the telecommunications industry and loves technology. He directs the New Hampshire Telecommunications Cabling program to help bring high school kids into the industry. He is an avid hockey player and coach. He also served as an avionics technician with the US Marine Corps.

Scott Black, RCDD

Scott Black covers the New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia region. He is a member of BICSI and has been a Registered Communications Distribution Designer since 1999.

Scott has been in the Tele-Data industry for over 19 years selling, designing, specifying and installation of cabling infrastructure, copper and optical fiber, throughout the New York/New Jersey/Philadelphia area. Scott's passion for customer relations and project management skills have been an integral part of his career in helping customers with their entire cabling infrastructure needs.

Having the experience as a design-build contractor, he understands what is required to build out a high performing IT infrastructure. Joe Helm, RCDD

Joe Helm covers the South Central US region. He brings 35 years of industry experience in manufacturing, distribution and contracting resulting in a multi-faceted understanding of what it takes to get product from raw material to finished installation.

Relying on his diverse background, Joe is better able to help his customers consider all aspects of their design needs. Having owned his own contracting business (which included design and installation of voice, data, audio, and video systems), he is able to provide real-world design assistance to his clients.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is BICSI-RCDD certified. For knowledgeable help with a real-world hands-on flavor, Joe will work with you to build high value into your designs.

Brett Hanson, RCDD

Brett has extensive experience designing and installing systems that support PoE applications for large enterprise companies. As a specification engineer for Leviton, Brett provides design assistance for customers and consultants, as well as data centers and other large enterprise companies Brett is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a BICSI RCCD of 15 years.

Peter Helfrich covers international projects. He has been working in the data communications and cabling industry for 30 years and has been RCDD-certified for almost 20 years.

During his career, Peter has gained hands-on experience with the design and implementation of structured cabling projects in many industries including financial services, higher education, municipal, enterprise, hospitality, and healthcare. He has familiarity with premise cabling design, trading floor technologies, and data center and COLO design. His design experience also extends to OSP cable plants, wireless systems, cellular enhancements, A/V systems, camera systems, and low-voltage healthcare systems.
