What is the Submetering Pro Contractor Certification Program?

Submetering Pro is a 2-day, hands on, instructor led training designed for installers and electrical contractors. Why This Training Is Worth the Investment

  • Increase job profitability: Faster installs, fewer issues, and less callbacks mean better margins
  • Take on more submetering work: Certification builds confidence to bid and execute quality submetering projects
  • Stand out during bidding: Being Leviton Submetering Pro Certified helps differentiate your company as a trusted installer
  • Shorten the learning curve: Learn directly from Leviton experts instead of figuring it out on live jobs

What Makes This Training Different

Not every contractor gets certified. This program is designed for contractors who want to lead in submetering.

  • Small class sizes for quality hands-on learning
  • Real access to subject matter experts
  • Focused, practical training, not theory

Investment:

  • Tier 1 (2 days): $1,000 per participant

Includes training ($2,500 value), hotel, and meals. Hosted at the Leviton facility in Tualatin, Oregon. Airfare not included.

Most contractors are billing $2,000+ per day for commissioning work. This program is often paid back on your first project, or even your first day on site. Everything after that is added margin.

Becoming a Submetering Pro Certified Contractor gives your team the practical knowledge, hands‑on experience, and manufacturer backing needed to turn submetering into a repeatable, profitable part of your business. Download the flyer to learn more.
