Coordinator, Marketing Operations 

About the role 

This role supports key marketing initiatives by managing promotional items, merchandising assets, product displays, and trade show coordination to ensure brand consistency and readiness across all customer touchpoints. It is also responsible for overseeing the preparation, assembly, storage, and shipment of marketing materials and event assets, ensuring efficient and reliable warehouse and logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Trade Show Coordination

  • Lead the planning and execution of trade show participation from start to finish
  • Coordinate with Sales and internal teams to align on objectives, booth requirements, and product needs
  • Manage booth bookings, registrations, and event logistics
  • Oversee shipping, setup coordination, and return of trade show materials
  • Act as the main point of contact for trade show coordination and ensure all materials are show-ready

Promotional Items, Merchandising & Displays

  • Manage the sourcing, ordering, and tracking of promotional items and merchandising materials
  • Coordinate merchandising requests and support custom initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Graphics teams
  • Coordinate the sourcing of product displays, working with suppliers to execute established requirements
  • Maintain showroom and demo displays, ensuring they are current and functional
  • Manage literature inventory and ensure materials are replenished and ready to ship for sales and events

Display Setup & Maintenance

  • Install products into display units, ensuring proper fit and presentation.
  • Modify and adapt existing displays as needed to support new products, merchandising requirements, and customer applications.
  • Use basic hand and power tools to install products and perform display adjustments, repairs, and maintenance.

Warehouse & Logistics

  • Prepare and ship marketing materials, samples, and promotional items to sales teams and customers
  • Coordinate shipments for trade shows, events, and marketing initiatives
  • Pack and organize materials to ensure safe and timely delivery
  • Maintain organized storage of marketing and event assets

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and vendors
  • Comfortable leading coordination meetings and gathering requirements from stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable using basic hand and power tools (drill, jigsaw, and other basic fabrication tools) assemble, modify, and maintain marketing displays.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment as part of daily responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone proficient in English to communicate with contacts across Canada and with colleagues in the United States. 

Experience 

  • 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, event coordination, managing marketing material or similar role
  • Experience with performing hands-on, physical/manual tasks (assembly, packing, display setup)
  • Exposure to trade shows, events, or marketing support activities is an asset
