ADVENTUM™ Cable

ADVENTUM Cable

Global Indoor/Outdoor Dry Loose-Tube Cable

Indoor/Outdoor ADVENTUM™ cables are engineered for use in Plenum and Euroclass environments, worldwide. This makes them ideal for a variety of installations, including outside plants or campuses, internal building applications, vertical riser installations, and data centers.

Utilizing dry, loose-tube technology with a Central Dry Tube (CDT) or Multi Dry Tube (MDT) design, ADVENTUM cables feature multiple color-coded buffer tubes and strength members, allowing for a compact and robust structure. These cable cores and buffer tubes then incorporate advanced, gel-free, water-blocking technology, which prevents water penetration and cuts the mess of wet gel constructions.

ADVENTUM™ is available with LSZH B2ca or plenum sheathing, providing the highest performing indoor cable with regards to fire safety. Furthermore, the innovative dry water-blocked cable cores, UV-rated sheathing as standard, and operational temperatures down to -40°C make these cables suitable for outdoor applications.

ADVENTUM™ benefits for organizations and contractors:

Faster, Easier Installation

  •  “Closet-to-closet” installation eliminates the need for transition point terminations and system grounding requirements.
  • Fewer consumables are needed to clean the fiber, and fiber preparation time is reduced without gel.
  • Lighter cable reduces loading stresses in cable trays and offers greater flexibility in deployment.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

  • The absence of gel and cleaning equipment makes the cable more environmentally friendly.

Flexible Fiber Counts

  • Available in a wide range of fiber counts, allowing organizations to meet both low- and high-density backbone cabling needs effectively.

Enterprise

Available globally.

ADVENTUM™ Enterprise cables are ideal for campus or in-building backbone installations, where people safety in the event of emergency is crucial. Enterprise fiber cables are extensively used in data centers and commercial environments to support high-bandwidth applications, including internet access, cloud computing, and large-scale data transfers.

These cables offer several key advantages:

  • Higher bandwidth: Capable of transmitting large amounts of data at high speeds.
  • Longer distances: Can carry signals over greater distances without significant loss of quality.
  • Immunity to electromagnetic interference.

Harsh Environment

Available in North America.

ADVENTUM™ Harsh Environment cable is designed for tough industrial settings, inside and between buildings, particularly where corrosive chemicals, fuels, or vapors are present. This is because its jacket is resistant to chemicals, water, and UV, making it suitable for outdoor facilities like fueling stations, oil refineries, or airports. Additionally, being Plenum rated means it can go wherever needed, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor environments without the need for a transition. All of this is coupled with availability in Central Dry and Multi Dry Tube varieties, with or without armor.

RailSafe

Available in EMEA.

ADVENTUM™ RailSafe cables are made with indoor/outdoor rail installations in mind, especially where fire safety is paramount. This includes underground rail networks, stations, tunnels, and tracksides, offering installation flexibility, whilst meeting the EuroClass requirements of the London Underground specification LUL S-1085. With options for both Central Dry and Multi Dry Tube varieties, and the availability of armored and non-armored, RailSafe adheres to high safety standards and presents itself as a robust solution.

Fire Survival

Available in EMEA.

ADVENTUM™ Fire Survival armored cables present a robust solution for ensuring critical data transmission during fire emergencies. These cables are designed to meet the stringent flammability standards of IEC60331-25, which means they can maintain circuit integrity for approximitely 90 minutes (PH90 - EN50200) even in extreme conditions. This makes them particularly suitable for large public buildings and critical infrastructure, such as data centers, airports, railway stations, stadiums, financial institutions, and industrial structures both onshore and offshore.

PAS2060 Carbon Neutral

ADVENTUM CPR-rated cables are made using 100% renewable energy in Leviton's PAS2060 carbon neutral manufacturing facility in Glenrothes, UK. ADVENTUM cables are part of Leviton's standard performance SDX Premises system, an OPT-X™ fiber system with spliced or mechanical field terminated connectivity to meet a wide variety of application needs and deployment locations for customers globally.
