Using My Leviton with Decora Smart® HomeKit® Devices

How you will use the My Leviton app

If you are using or were previously using the Decora Smart Home app, you can now use the My Leviton app for maintenance of your Decora Smart 1st Generation (DH***) and 2nd Generation (D2***) HomeKit® devices. You DO NOT need to create or log into a My Leviton account.

Instead, you will select the "Use with HomeKit® Only" link on the My Leviton Login screen.

My Leviton

When using the My Leviton app with your Decora Smart HomeKit® devices, you:

  • SHOULD continue to use the Apple Home app to add new and control existing Decora Smart HomeKit® devices
  • SHOULD NOT delete your existing devices from the Decora Smart Home or Apple Home app
  • DO NOT need to create a My Leviton account
  • DO NOT need to log into a My Leviton account
  • DO NOT need to add your 2nd Generation devices to My Leviton unless you intend to use them in both the My Leviton app and the Apple Home app
  • CAN NOT add your 1st Generation devices to My Leviton

If you were previously using the Decora Smart Home app, you will now use the Apple Home app to add and control your Decora Smart HomeKit® devices and you will use the My Leviton app to modify advanced settings and update firmware in those same devices.
