Configuring the LED Dim Level Indicator Timeout on a Decora Smart Z-Wave Dimmer

Leviton Decora Smart Z-Wave Dimmers have the ability to alter the LED dim level indicator timeout.

  • Enter Programming Mode by holding the top of the paddle for 7 seconds (the Locator LED will turn amber), and then release (the Locator LED will begin to blink amber).
  • Tap the top of the paddle 8 times. The Locator LED will quickly flash red.
  • Use the dim/bright bar to adjust the speed of dimming using the chart below:

    • The Locator LED will quickly flash amber to confirm.
