How do I change the fade rate for my Decora Smart Wi-Fi Dimmer?

You can select how quickly your light brightens when turned on and dims when turned off.  Your Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi dimmers (D26HD, DN6HD, D2MSD, D23LP, DW6HD, DW1KD, DW3HL) can each be individually adjusted between 0 and 25 seconds. 

In an entryway, you might want the lights to turn on quickly – select 0 seconds.  In a bedroom, you will want a softer, more gentle experience – set to 3 or 5 seconds.

Both the Fade On Rate and the Fade Off Rate can be adjusted for each dimmer.

Select the dimmer you wish to adjust by pressing the 3 dots [⋮] in the upper-right corner of the device card, and then pressing Device Settings.

Press Advanced Settings, and then press Dimmer Behavior.

Adjust the Fade On Rate to select how quickly your lights brighten when turned on.  Adjust the Fade Off Rate to select how quickly your lights dim when turned off. 

Options are selectable between 0 and 25 seconds. Once the rate has been selected, press OK.
