It is quick and easy to change the faceplate of your Decora Smart Switch or Dimmer to a different color.

Removing Your Face Plate:

• Remove the wall plate and if applicable the screwless wall plate sub plate
• As long as the switch or dimmer is installed in the wallbox with no wires exposed power can remain on
• If wires are exposed and the switch or dimmer is connected power, please turn the power off at the breaker
• Push in sides at bottom tabs and pull outward to release the color change kit

Installing a Face Plate:

• Make certain the dimmer or switch is upright
  • For a dimmer, the dim bright bar will be to the right
• Insert top tabs and press in bottom tabs to complete the installation of the color change kit
• With the switch or dimmer installed in the box, reattach the face plate
• If power was turned off, it can be turned back on
