An Anywhere Companion can work stand-alone with a Gen 2 Decora Smart Wi-Fi device and does not need to be connected to the app, cloud or Wi-Fi. If a Gen 2 Decora Smart Wi-Fi device is connected to Wi-Fi and the connection is disrupted the connection to the Anywhere Companion will not be affected.
Use the DAWDC or DAWSC as standalone solution to add 3-way multi-location control anywhere. To pair with the primary switch (D215S) or dimmer (D26HD) simply press the top of the rocker five times.
