Creating a switched outlet is simple even if you don't have wires run between the switch location and the outlet. You will need a D215R Decora Smart® 2nd Gen Wi-Fi Switched Tamper Resistant Outlet and a DAWSC Anywhere Companion Switch. No Wi-Fi or app is needed to control the outlet. The D215R can be included to the My Leviton App and retain full app control even when paired to the DAWSC.
- Install the D215R
- Note the DW15R is not compatible with the DAWSC
- The DAWSC can be installed just about anywhere, on a wall or a junction box
- The DAWSC is battery powered
